Housekeeping have so many responsible as the department , Housekeeping have to cover all over the area in the hotel. so All office in the hotel need to be clean and proper standard as a good housekeeping staff you should be learn how to maintaining & clean the office , in this part i am going to explain how it to be done.
Pre Preparation
- Collect/ Assemble equipment (I.e. Vacuum cleaner, dusters,chemicals etc.)
- Entering Hotel offices
- Wait until the office is opened by the person responsible greet employees.
- Checking for defects.
- Check Maintenance from the furthest end of the office to the nearest. If any defects are found, inform the HK desk.
Dusting
- Vacuum carpet from the furthest end working towards the Entrance.
- Placing water bottles.
- Collect all used water bottles in to a garbage bag. Replace used water bottles with new ones.
- Leaving the office.
- Check neatness and cleanliness make sure to collect all items when leaving.(garbage Bags, dusters, air fresheners.)
