 today we going to talk about Abbreviation , it mean sort form 

what ? sort Form? 

                             yes Short form this is most important knowledge , because while you working with housekeeping department you should have to know about Abbreviation , the Abbreviation is the short form of the hotel rooms current status . 

there is many Abbreviation are using  i am going to show you some of them .

• VC--------------- Vacant Clean 

This mean Rooms are clean but front office can not sell this room without inspection  by supervisor 

• VCI/IP-----------Vacant Clean Inspection 

This mean this room ready to sell to guest . front office can sell any time.

• VD------------- --Vacant Dirty

This mean this Room still not cleaning and still not  ready to  sell to guest

• CI-------------- --Check In

This mean there is a guest but the guest is  just arrived.

• CO---------------Check Out 

This mean guest hand over his room to the hotel , the guest leave the room but he is not leaved  hotel still.Room boy can not clean this kind of room without informing supervisor.

• D------------------Departure 

This mean Guest already leave the room and hotel also. Room boy can start to clean this Room
