this is very impotent work , if you have carpets in your hotel or home this is useful for you,
because some guest like to have sit on the floor so as a housekeeping department we should clean floor also,
 

Spotlessly cleaned carpets in guest rooms, suites, villas and in the public areas, banquet hall,

• Handling carpet stains
• If carpet stained heavily and /or over large areas stained
• If unsure whether to clean carpet manually or mechanically 

Handling carpet stains

• -         Rinse with clean water before wiping dry. Use dry machines if appropriate.
• -         Use appropriate brush with nylon bristles to work chemicals into the carpet.
• -         Apply standard chemicals to dissolve stain. (Test an area which is not visible if unsure about the cleaning agent).
• -         Use warm water to pre-treat the stain.
• -         Clear the area
• -         Vacuumed the carpet thoroughly

If carpet stained heavily and /or over large areas stained

• -         Ensure to follow manufacturer’s guidelines and the associate has been fully trained to properly use the equipment. This will prevent damage, injury and further worsening of the carpet condition
• -         Omit cleaning carpet by hand and use appropriate machinery with minimal guest disruption.

If unsure whether to clean carpet manually or mechanically 

Consult with appropriate supervisor, as over-use of mechanical cleaning can permanently damage carpet and rugs
